Rapid curing adhesives (Part I)

the use of inorganic and inorganic additives, organic and organic additives or organic and inorganic additives for synergistic effect has become a trend in the manufacturing of packaging materials. In order to continuously update our packaging products and remain invincible in the competition, according to years of accumulation and practice and user information feedback. After screening and refining, the application of some packaging additives is briefly discussed

I. Development and application of inorganic materials

1 Calcium carbonate with low price, white color and good processing performance is a polar active substance. With the cooperation of organic additives, it can almost meet the performance requirements of papermaking, plastics and other industries. As a filling, drying and reinforcing agent, it is the lowest price variety. 

2. Talc powder (monoclinic crystal system) which often acts in coordination with calcium carbonate can improve the retention of paper pulp, the rigidity and heat resistance of plastic products, the transmittance of light scattered by the film, improve the performance of packaging film, improve the thermal insulation of ink at night, and play the role of leveling and anti sedimentation in water-based ink, and even the nucleating agent of PVC plastic. 

3. As an inorganic nucleating agent, kaolin (also known as high clay) can make polypropylene plastic form fine spherulites. In addition to improving the mechanical strength, it can also be used as an insulating material of PVC to produce high-voltage cables above 6kV. It is slightly superior to calcium in improving the retention rate of paper pulp. It is added to plastic in white, gray and yellow respectively, and blown, extruded, injected, calendered and rolled, Make packaging products with the same color not seen from the development of single screw. 

4. Wollastonite accounts for 16.7% of the atomic content in the earth's crust. China is still in the deep development stage of industrialization, information, urbanization, marketization and internationalization. Wollastonite has a good aspect ratio (triclinic system). It is mostly used to replace glass fibers with high prices. It is often used to make heat-resistant cardboard and as a reinforcing agent for plastic packaging materials, effectively improving the wear resistance of products and the stability of packaging specifications and dimensions, It can be used in fire-proof plastic packaging products and fire-proof liquid printing inks together with halogen-containing flame retardants. The crystal lattice of the material contains Oh, so it can effectively prevent the precipitation of pigments and fillers in the ink. Because the wollastonite crystal emits fluorescence or phosphorescence under ultraviolet irradiation, it is often used by epoxy resin ink

5. Mica, known as "thousand layer paper" by people, is a very complex silicon salt material. Because its crystals are often pseudo hexagonal, and its aggregates are in column, plate and scale shapes, it is not only a decorative filler for packaging materials such as papermaking and plastics, but also a typical reinforcing agent. It can effectively improve the rigidity, heat resistance and dimensional stability of its products, promote the transmittance of scattered light, and its performance is superior to other inorganic fillers, It has extremely high electrical insulation and acid and alkali corrosion resistance. 

6. Quartz is used as a filling material in semi-rigid PVC plastic, and its wear resistance is several times that of calcium which was mainly used by domestic diaphragm enterprises before the carbonation

7. Magnesium oxide has been used in printing inks in recent years, especially in rotary printing inks, which can greatly improve the gloss of printed images and texts

II. Exploratory application of organic materials

in papermaking, plastics and printing inks and reducing carbon dioxide emissions; 2. Among the packaging materials with excellent corrosion resistance and metal fatigue resistance, in addition to the development and application of inorganic materials, the research and application of organic materials have also made qualitative development. Its purpose is not to blindly pursue the green fashion trend, but to curb the declining natural resources and block the deteriorating natural living environment. In order to protect the environment, people are constantly introducing inorganic packaging materials, and at the same time, they are constantly exploring and developing high-efficiency, non-toxic packaging material additives that can be used in conjunction with inorganic additives. The number of them reaches hundreds

1. Antioxidant and auxiliary antioxidant. It is used to improve the anti oxygen ability of plastic products and printing inks, delay the induction period of oxidation, and delay and prevent the deterioration of packaging during storage or use. (to be continued)
